Because all of them are corrupt and getting kickbacks. No other reasons at this stage.

I voted for Trump and his agenda. Get the sentiment, but half these scumbags are grandstanding while they let Biden do whatever the frick they autopened for him.

I’m assuming the fear is if push for more cuts they lose Republicans in purple districts in the House.

Johnson said he’ll move if they drop spending levels to pre Covid, adjusted for inflation and population. This is about another $800 billion.
I am fine with this.

Where did these “fiscal hawks” come from all of a sudden?
There’s so much conflicting information from the right about the BBB that I don’t know what to believe.
Believe this much:
Two of Trump's big campaign promises are in the bill- no tax on tips and no tax on overtime. If you removed those two things from the bill, the Controlled Opposition GOPe would pass it in a fricking heartbeat. It's not about fiscal conservatism, debt reduction or a decrease in spending. It's about "sticking it" to bLuMpF.

If this was true then why won’t they get ride of the Green New Deal spending and codify the DOGE cuts? ??
Excellent question.
