The United States Federal Government is an evil entity.

The problem of interference is the people in control.

They are beholden to the $$$ given to them by foreign interests, which they repay with our tax dollars, ten-fold.

People like that need to be liquidated.

Half of the Democrats would immediately move to the Red states before the split just to frick the New Country up.

The red states would be in trouble. Too much accumulated wealth and port control in the blue states. This is something only the dumbest of conservatives want.

Can we stop pretending Georgia voted for Biden. That was millions of preprinted ballots scanned at night after the doors were locked.

We don’t need to make two countries. What we need is to shrink the federal government and let the states handle state business, like it was intended.

This whole thing where we think the states have to do the same thing is asinine.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

States’ nullification of federal overreach is the first thing that needs to happen, consistent with the 10th amendment. Secession is the nuclear option if the feds go too far in reaction to the nullification.

The left has already created precedent for this with sanctuary cities concerning illegal immigration. States only need to declare themselves sanctuary states against unconstitutional federal mandates, etc and refuse to comply. The left did it first.

not if it is cod locked secured.

People are smart enough to get all of that do

Term limits mandatory.

3 to 5 regional capitols, lobbying money banned

make it like jury duty among a voted choice of a few dozen - those not selected do a 2 year duty at governance centers as adjunct to professionals.

Probably should just do it by counties instead of states. Then you would truly end up with the best parts of the country.

Hard secession is not feasible but we should give the Articles of Confederation a reconsideration. I always said the easiest solution would be to turn the biggest cities like NYC and Chicago into city-states where they run their own affairs and leave the rest of their states alone.

I agree but looking at that map makes my point this divide is cultural as much as it is political. For some reason, the split is driving between a cosmopolitan view on life (immigration, technocracy, rights on abortion, etc.) vs. a traditional (some would say nationalist) outlook. Personally, I'm leaning towards the former but I also like a gov't that's fiscal responsible which neither side is pushing save for a few pockets.

If we support small gov't then we need to push back on having capital. Maybe have ten different capitals or no capitals at all. The last thing we need is for special interest groups to concentrate like they've done in DC for the past two hundred years.
