These violent revolutionary activities appear to be weakening the Trump Administration. Esper is a visible crack, and an important one.

I really thought that the Left might try some widespread violent revolutionary activity before November in order to foster the notion that the USA can't have peace until Biden is installed in office. Trump was doing so well in the absence of organized violent resistance that it did occur to me that something like this would happen.

Interesting. Let's see if these violent revolutionary activities can be sustained. I think that it might benefit the Left at this point to keep the violence going in order to give the appearance of widespread hatred of Trump. This will "chase away" members of the Trump Admin because these career bureaucrats are NOT fighters, they are bureaucrats and will abandon Trump at the first sign of a set-back.

We shall see. As of today - as of right now - I see serious cracks in Trump's ability to hang on and beat Biden.

Still plenty of time for President Trump to recover, though. Plenty of time for a comeback.

That's your opinion. Not Everyone's. You don't have any information at your disposal as to if and when such measures should be employed. You do your job, you don't question orders, it's not your place to find it " distasteful " , especially if the law has been on the books for over 200 years, and been used a number of times. You do your job.

Can't say that I totally disagree with Esper, especially with regards to the insurrection act. The problem is that what you think and what you say at a presser knowing you are a representative of this administration should guide you to keep your mouth shut.

If you disagree with the boss speak your mind "to your boss". Don't do it to the press.

You have not a clue arse wipe...

Ill put my service record up against yours anyway, especially since you cannot understand the concept we are discussing here and how distasteful it would be for ANYONE involved to have to pull the trigger on the insurrection act...

People like you are just as bad on the thugs rioting on the TV...

Maybe just another guy that does not want the orange stink on him. Is there a prop L Ron Trump will not use?

You are not speaking for everyone.

They did this after the 1992 riots so it is not unprecedented.

Many on this board weren’t even born then or were still filling diapers but it isn’t ancient history.

And...

I mean, I don’t always agree with my boss, but if I do, I go to them - not the media (social or otherwise).

You don't get to second guess the President of the US on national TV. Its not his call its the Presidents. He can do what hes told or get fired and someone else will take his place. What an idiotic thing for him to say with all this chaos going down. GHWB used it in 1992 and no one said a word.
