Ehh he isn't polished in his answers to Leahy, but I think its justified that he has to figure out what the hell he is talking about.

He should ask Leahy "What are you trying to imply?"

This all seems like Leahy has a specific beef from years ago and he's too senile to phrase the accusation cogently.

I agree that Kavanaugh's response is all over the place. To be fair, I already would have just said, "Senator, just what exactly are you asking me or accusing me of? You want to know if I stole or knew anything I was reviewing was 'stolen'? I categorically deny that. I participated in these discussions in our normal course of business in prepping nominees. It was all legel, ethical and moral."

When I first heard it playing out I was thinking "oh shite, this sounds bad". Then I realized this is playing down to dems to make it sound like this is some horrible thing that Kav didn't question where an email came from.

K seems to be finding his footing now that he knows what this old bastard is saying.

Took him a minute to realize Leahy is essentially asking, "When did you stop beating your wife?"

Leahy went off about emails yesterday as well, does he think he is in A HRC hearing?

Also anybody remember McCain's odd statement at one of these hearings? I think his brain tumor affected him years ago. He should have stepped down.

Leahy wants you to sense trouble. He has nothing. It’s convenient for him to allude to things that may or may not exist under the premise that they “could be within the trove of confidential emails” to make you think that they may exist.
