wow it seems as if Feinstein told Grassley to just let them go
Ity is amazing to me that the DEMOCRATs on the panel do not stand up and call for them to CUT IT OUT = (like Obama told Russia
The fact that they are remaining silent reinforces what I already know about DEMOCRATs.
They are dishonorable to the core - every one of them.

WTF was that lady yelling as they dragged her out?

The left is overplaying this. This is not an extreme figure like Bork was (who remains the most qualified man ever nominated but not confirmed, BTW).
Even going back to the 1960s - the first 3 (all Dems) SCOTUS justices were confirmed by acclamation (White, Goldberg and Fortas), and Marshall was confirmed 69-11. Of the 11 "No" votes, only Strom Thurmond was Republican - the others were all Southern Dems (including Fritz Hollings and Robert Byrd).
Nixon's first confirmation, Burger, only got 3 no votes. There was always something going on with Rehnquist (probably abortion was the issue) as he drew 26 no votes as AJ and 33 when Reagan made him chief.
Stevens (a very liberal justice appointed by Republican Ford) was 98-0, O'Connor (first woman) was 99-0. Scalia and Kennedy combined for 195-0, and Souter was 90-9. It was Thomas (when they attempted to metaphorically "lynch" an "uppity black" - Thomas' words, not mine) where civility began to turn.
Republicans tried to turn the other cheek. RBG was 96-3 and Breyer was 87-9. And to be fair, Roberts was 78-22 (but the threat was W. was going to make Scalia chief, akin to Reagan making Rehnquist chief). Although not overwhelming, Sotomayor and Kagan were confirmed 131-68.
But, Alito was tight, as was Gorsuch. I expect Kavanaugh to be comparable to Gorsuch - 53 or 54 votes. It's possible the Dems will combined for 90 no votes for Gorsuch and Kavanaugh - that's almost all of them.
Utter bullshite.

Not only are they plants, they have pre-planned lines to yell and a timer to tell them when they should go off.

People voted Trump in 2016 in part because of stupid shite like what these protesters are doing. Americans are fed up with it and have realized that the other side has gone insane.

This shite has just become stupid. Kav is holding up amazingly well. The protesters are just showing how solid he really is.

They don’t have any reasonable arguments. They are just screaming and crying like babies. It’s so bizarre to me. I’m amazed at what kinds of lies these adults believe and how brainwashed they are by their own groups (many from the women’s march) and that they completely avoid reading any widely available materials about Kavanaugh’s record. And then they take it a step further by blindly and very publicly protesting with meaningless catchphrases that have no relevance to the person they are protesting.

This "Independence" conversation is a joke when one reflects on Sotomayor or Kagan.

They made up their mind they were voting “no” even before Kavanaigh was selected.
It’s disgusting in my opinion. It’s lazy.

Democrats have an uphill battle to sink Kavanaugh’s nomination. It would require all 49 Demoratic members to oppose Kavanaugh and for one Republican to cross the aisle.

they know he is a sure thing, Kamala Harris and Corey Booker are campaigning to the sick dem base for their Presidential runs.

I hope they do it the entire time and it gets coverage on all stations.......I WOULD HOPE NORMAL MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AMERICANS WILL TURN THEIR NOSE AT IT.

Posted on 9/5/18 at 9:11 am to cajunangelle

Posted on 9/5/18 at 9:12 am to cajunangelle
Senator Feinstein goes right to the heart of the matter which is abortion and semi-automatic assault weapons! semi. Automatic. Assault. Weapons. So old.
Posted on 9/5/18 at 9:16 am to BestBanker
Feinstein doesn't understand Common Use.
And these people run our country. What a frickin joke.
