We had quite the thread going on the Score Board last night about the Pre-Game Equity And Inclusion Announcement, but of course it was deleted and anyone that didn't agree with it was labeled a racist.

I’m shocked.

Perhaps on this board, we can ask the questions that some of us want to know.

Absolutely. We unapologetically and enthusiastically support open discussion and the free exchange of ideas. Nazi and Communist values are not part of this board’s rules.

Conservative institutions are easy to capture. A ton of conservative LSU football fans are like "well so long as we win its no big deal". That's how you get completely over run. You give a mouse a cookie..

Not really.

North gates are a fricking hellhole.

Tigerland et all is another shitty area bordering campus. Etc.

Main part that isn’t completely horrible is lakeshore and some of that still abuts the north gates.

Coincidental that they did it during the Army game of all games?

They have played it before every game since 2020.

Equity at LSU canceled General Troy Middleton, an American Army corps commander in World War 2 who literally helped win it against the Nazis. Nuts to LSU.

Well done.

General Middleton arguably did more for LSU than anyone else in our history. Indeed, one could well argue that LSU and Middleton are inseparable at this point. If you want to fully disassociate Middleton's name, you would have to blow up the whole campus and start over.

LSU as a school and its AD are neck deep into DEI.

The death of George Floyd in May 2020 was a catalyst for social and institutional change within LSU Athletics. The department’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion began following the results of the Racial Climate Survey where 232 full-time employees responded to questions relevant to the general workplace environment, racial/ethnic discrimination in the workplace, efforts related to diversity and inclusion, and the social environment surrounding topics related to activism and police brutality.

A majority (62%) of respondents said “yes” when asked if they “support kneeling and/or the #TakeAKnee movement as a form of protest for racial inequalities in America during the national anthem.” This was true for 59% of White full-time employees, compared to 93% of Black and 80% of URM full- time employees. When asking if they would support an LSU colleague, student-athlete, or coach’s decision to kneel during the anthem, support was more widespread. Here, 86% of all respondents—including 87% of White, 100% of Black, and 96% of URM full-time employees—said yes.

Maybe if SW believes this junk, he should just resign. The only reason he got the job anyway is cause he's white. Right Scott?

In 2006 USL came to BR and they had a male flag team member that was clearly flaming. The Jumbotron camera man solely focused on him the entire half time show. The crowd had a good time with it.

Those were the days.
