I saw a guy years ago on Bill Maher (who was bitching about this over the top environmental laws) who basically said, "Bill, you championed these kinds of regulations for years. You were warned what it could lead to but you laughed and mocked the people that said it. Now you're bitching about the rules you once supported. This is on you and your ilk".
