He'll be doing a podcast in his basement interviewing Don Lemon, Jim Acosta, et al.
Don’t forget that other mentally deranged miserable prick Keith Olbermann who has been doing the same for years now.

Does Murder, She Wrote still follows 60 Minutes?

Another thing not discussed is the reason 60 Minutes got at times large viewership. THE frickING NFL!!
“60 Minutes gets a major ratings boost during NFL season because it often airs right after CBS’s late-afternoon NFL game. A large number of viewers simply stay on CBS after the game ends, especially when the game runs late or is a marquee matchup.”
“It is not only that people “didn’t switch channels.” It’s that NFL lead-ins give 60 Minutes a built-in mass audience, and some portion of that audience sticks around. That inflates the average audience during football season compared with a normal Sunday newsmagazine audience.”
“There’s also direct historical evidence of this pattern. In 2016, 60 Minutes surged after a huge NFL lead-in of more than 40 million viewers.
A good example of the opposite happened in January 2026: when 60 Minutes aired against NFL playoff competition rather than benefiting from the lead-in, it reportedly drew only 4.9 million viewers, far below its usual football-season-enhanced numbers.”
The delusional talent at 60 Minutes are fricking stupid and arrogant enough to think they are the reason people tuned in. Clueless dumb asses.
Give that some measured thought, Scotty. You smug bastard.

Dave Portnoy had a good rant when Deadspin was falling apart. He basically said a lot of these media guys feel entitled to lifetime positions where they can do whatever they want and answer to no one. That mindset had obviously rotted Pelley's brain.

What an insufferable piece of shite.
Prior to Pelley, there was a fellow named Wallace. Wallace, in real life, was certainly an arrogant, insufferable ba$t&r+!! He must have mentored Pelley.

You may very well be correct but I don’t think Mike was near as reprehensible as Pelley.

He was a smug prick who contributed nothing. He was forced out as the CBS Evening News anchor back in like 2017 for complaining about it being a hostile work environment. Dude was a straight-up pussy that was always complaining.

I'm honestly amazed that anyone who's under 90 and has at least some real interest in politics pays enough attention to the goings on at CBS to get pissed about it.
I guess they're better than CNN, but that ain't saying much.

This fake knows damn well that he and 60 minutes have done nothing but lie to the American people for years and even decades. Thry lied about Trump/Russia collusion, lied about the Steele dossier, lied about the Hunter Biden laptop, lied about Covid, lied about Brandon's mental condition, etc, etc, etc.
He's a total phony who was nothing but a well-paid little propaganda puppet for the corrupt Political Establishment.

CBS “news” has been propaganda for much much longer than 10 years.

Yeah, I'm not a big Bari Weiss fan, but I'm surprised that her cleaning house is causing this much commotion.

60 Minutes should have had a film crew rolling when they did this announcement or meeting for a special Inside 60 Minutes Special Segment.
Would have gotten their highest ratings since the 70s at least.

It's really bad when Portnoy has the higher moral ground and he's 100% right:
