Trump seems to have a lot of these in his inner circle. Makes one wonder. I don't want to be around anyone from the LGBTQ+ brigade as they are mentally ill people.
A lot? Like, 2? He's in DC. Half that town and people affiliated with it are f@gs.

He was as close to being his right hand man as you can get
Judas, as one of the 12 disciples, was as close as one could get to Jesus. Then he betrayed him.
Benedict Arnold was an accomplished hero helping the American Revolution before he turned traitor and fled to England.
Sometimes circumstances and people change.
Bessant definitely worked closely with Soros at one time... when Soros himself was more involved with investing than he was with politics I might add.
So, yes, based on what I see Bessant doing and saying, I would say Bessant is not a Soros bro.

Slays? What’s with the boomers on this board speaking like a 22 year old black woman in 2018?

Staying away from your temptations. That's smart.

That's a reach to pretend that he isn't who he always has been. A Soros bro

Ironic since Bessent is literally a Soros bro
That’s tendentious. You should be ashamed. He was once associated with Soros as a financial, not a political, partner.

I've looked hard. Maybe Powerman can try. But I have found no mention of deep friendship or of a personal bond of any sort.
Zero. Hell all newsweek could find was a professional history of mutual respect in business.
He worked twice for the Soros hedge fund group.
In 2016 he began donating to Republicans and its organizations.
Power if you have never worked for someone you didn't care for on a personal level your just lucky I guess.

I just got a chance to watch it. That was the verbal beat down equivalent of a tsunami. No hyperbole, just cold hard facts.

Seriously?
Of course, citing Judas is a stretch. Judas is an archetype of a traitor. I used him to make a point that "as close as you can get" doesn't mean as much as you think. Proximity can but doesn't necessarily mean both people share the same values. I mean, married people, who are "as close as one can get" get divorced all the time. If a man marries a girl named Anna, gets divorced, and marries Marie, would you still call him Anna's man? That's retarded.
Do we need to move away from the traitor motif and go through a variety of relationships and examples for you to understand that sometimes people have experiences or epiphanies and change their values, or just grow apart?
Would the archetype of the Grinch (or Scrooge), who has a change of heart, make more sense to you? People can change.
Even when people themselves don't change all that much, a change of circumstances can cause a split. Maurice and Richard McDonald partnered with Ray Croc for a few years, but as McDonald's grew, the friction between the brothers and Croc grew and Croc eventually bought them out. Their partnership worked when the company was small; it did not when the company grew and their differences in vision grew. It would be nonsensical to call Ray Croc a Richard McDonald bro, or to call Richard a Croc bro because of their previous partnership.
Your point is reductionist, inaccurate, and rather stupid.
