A Bernie Bro tried to assassinate a couple dozen Republicans playing baseball and there was very little to no outrage from the left/media.

What makes you think they'll shine a light on this and give it the same treatment as if the roles were reversed.

You guys clutch your pearls when the Cheeto & Chief made mean tweets. Yet your idols (religious idols IMO) can make inflammatory comments like this of Mad Max’s and not suffer any consequences? The question you have to ask is what does the Congressional Baseball attempt, Buffalo and Uvalde have in common? Every murders had left wing leanings.

Nothing will happen to Schumer, remember when Maxine Waters did the same thing and nothing happened to her.

Nothing will happen. For christ's sake, Maxine Waters was able to go to Minneapolis, during the riots, and claim more is to come if the jury doesn't vote a certain way... and nothing happened.

You're not allowed to take what Democrats say in context. You've to always assume that they didn't mean anything by it, and didn't have the intention of inciting violence. It's the nudge nudge wink wink of our country.

While I agree, I don't agree that this will always remain the case.

Eventually we will be right, and shite WILL happen and it will just be bad for everyone. But it will force change.

Yeah, because the Right never does anything about it.

Why isn't there a 30 second spot featuring Schumer's threat and explaining what a joke Trump inciting/Jan 6 is - that's played so frequently the next three months that 90% of America could recite Schumer's threat verbatim?

Seriously, why doesn't this happen?

May not. I’d still like to see his life a hell storm though. You have to crack these people mentally. Give them hell at some point. Elon started that a month ago. You can see they are coming apart.

Did CNN determine if schumer’s threat is a danger to democracy?

It might be one thing if Kav were a rep or senator or some elected position. But what other possible explanation than retributive violence could explain "you'll pay the price" when directed at a lifetime appointee?

ETA: Perhaps it was a threat to pack the court?

How can Senators openly threaten their colleagues in another branch of government?

When Schmer was catching some heat for originally saying it from Roberts, he said it was because "he was from Brooklyn and that just how he talks".

I kid you not.

Seriously? Remember the level of pearl clutching and fainting that happened during the 2016 campaign when Trump said Hillary got schlonged? I feel like that one isn't invoked enough.

What I meant was, no news outlet will question him on his words, no interviews will be conducted to get to the bottom of the meaning of his comments, and if something were to happen to one of those justices…the Schum would be an after thought. Now do tell me, if you traded names of the person, let’s say Trump said this, or any R for example…along with,
let’s insert Ginsburg or Sotomayor, do you think that this would be a non story or an impeachable 24 hour news cycle offense. I think we both know the answer.

Schumer’s Lame Brooklyn excuse

quote:

Schumer’s logic for his harsh words is “I’m from Brooklyn. We speak in strong language.” He should not use Brooklyn as an excuse for his clear mistake. As a long time political science professor from Brooklyn, I believe there is no excuse for the disrespect Schumer demonstrated for the two most important principles of our government — separation of powers, and checks and balances.

where might this 'change' come from? not the republicans!

the country will have to be at war with itself for any possibility of change.

Obarry has seen to that by his declaration of 'change'.

If he can lead an impeachment vote based off of Trump's Jan 6 comments, then he deserves his own trial. His comments were much more inciting.
