As a gun guy, I believe you should be able to take your gun anywhere. However, I'm curious how many of you completely ignore "gun-free-zones" when it comes to places like... your child's school for example. Do you completely disregard the rules/laws like this guy did?

This also makes me question where my handgun has been since I bought it used off GunBroker.

If you can’t afford a proper holster, leave it in the car.

Never understood why a man would store his gun pointed at his junk. They make holsters for a reason.

Does a CC permit allow you to carry in a school's gun free zone?

I'm more worried about his choice of storage than I am of his disregard of unconstitutional laws

Legal answer: I never carry in gun-free zones.

Honest answer: It depends how long I expect to be in said zone. If it is a quick in and out, I still carry.

ETA: I can't think of a dumber way to carry than this clown.

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or not, but no it does not.

Good for him to be carrying, but that is an absolutely moronic way to carry your weapon.

ETA: Gun free zones kill people and should not exist.

It's in a holster if you look closely.

I'm pretty surprised everyone is thinking this guy is carrying unsafely. He's got a holster and carrying in a very common position.

Depends on the laws of the state

A concealed carry permit exempts you from the Federal Gun Free School Zones Act.

Then it comes down to state law.

Unless that school is in the middle of Compton, then leave the gun in the truck.

Hopefully, he is just is so used to wearing it that he forgot about it.
