China will take Taiwan when they are ready to do so. The US will not stop them.
What is NEVER talked about?
Have a network drive? There are millions of them in the US and the software agreement with each one states that the license is governed by the laws of Taiwan. Oops.
And those Transcend thumb drives that have software that Amazon sells.
They would instantly have access to network drives across the US. Meanwhile our DA Reps in DC have never given it a thought.

Exactly. Rommel and many of the German generals have my respect, but you’re spot on why this is different. Xi Jinping and everyone in his inner circle are fricking geniuses, and we’ve got a bunch of cowards, traitors, idiots, and buffoons leading our country.

You’re right and you’re wrong at the same time. China does indeed want their materials and Afghanistan to have some autonomy, but they still want them completely bound to their will and never dare defy them. It’s complicated.

I don’t get the impression from Sarah Silverman, unlike her ex Jimmy Kimmel, that she hates the middle of the country or thinks she’s better than us. She has very much reached out to the other side and try to understand them. Kimmel on the other hand has directly said good riddance to his fans that were on the Right. Jimmy I think comes from a bad place and is a genocidal lunatic at this point, but Sarah doesn’t want us dead like Jimmy does.

Wokeness is an ideology that expands without limit. You break up the country...and wokeness will still infiltrate into the nonwoke areas. It will still play on the emotions of regular people and inflict them with shame and self hatred. After a while, the nonwoke areas will be in as much chaos as our country is in now.
Because unlike the woke areas, the nonwoke areas will embrace freedom of speech.
Only way to fight against such an invasive ideology.. is to do away with the freedom of speech and start targeting those who are woke. But that would make the nonwoke areas as bad as the woke areas. So that's not a solution.
Just need to wait about fifty to a hundred years for a new equally as invasive ideology to take over. At that time, all things woke will be tossed in the trash and all the woke monuments and statues will be destroyed, imo. That future ideology, whatever it is, will probably be scarier than wokeness though.
