Yep. The market is saturated with IPAs.

Will never buy Sam Adams again. Period.

Stop being political and just make beer.

Was at a brewery in stl. Bar keep said owner won't do ipa because everyone is doing them.

Then I pointed out all the beer he did have that everyone is also doing.

I hated them for 30 years lol.
Was a very hot day was working hard and tried a Sweetwater IPA and have been hooked ever since.
But its a beer like stout that needs the right time to drink it.

Hunch punch IPA has a nice ring and some nostalgia.

True, but the IPA thing is out of control. I was at our local beer bar the other day, and fully 1/3 of the menu was some iteration of IPA. The next closest was Stout, but one would expect that in Winter.

I am NOT calling you a hipster, but IPAs have indeed become the hipster go-to beer, so every brewery in the country is making one or ten of them ... and most of them are doing a poor job of it.

In other words it's going to have an expiration date on it.

Ipa are selling. Brewers want money.

Me and hipster will never be a thing. So good call there.

All but one local brewer here makes at least one good ipa. The bad one is really bad. Maybe it's self fulfilling prophecy as the name is old battle ax.

LoL.

funny story. A few years ago I decided that I wanted to try a Cream Ale, because it is one of the only native American beer styles. I went to the local Specs, and bought one of every Cream Ale in the store (5, as I recall). I hated all of them, for a variety of different reasons. Then, accidentally, I spotted the new Cream Ale from Shiner in the grocery store and tried it. It was delicious, and is now my “go to” beer outside on a hot day.

Moral? If you look hard enough .....

I will look for that one as I too hate cream ales. Could be new boat beer.

Pretty sure it was Dr. Richard Harambe on Twitter with the best port about this. Something like it will be a pale light beer that is impossible to find.

I heard Ruth pounded a pony Keg of it last night and still made it up in time this morning to hit the box to crush her crossfit wod before she punches the SCOTUS time clock on the weekend exhausting her own 20-something law clerks and leaving this evening in time to catch RGB, the play, downtown.

How will it resemble Ruth Bader Ginsburg? Will you not actually be able to find it anywhere? Will grocers refuse to remove it from the shelves even when it goes past the expiration date?

Or, is it just highly disagreeable with a person's constitution.?

This is my only issue with them. I've been in bars where almost every tap is an IPA. Frustrating for a porter/stout fan like myself.

From a marketing standpoint, I just can’t understand why you would market anything with such a divisive approach.

I didn’t drink Sam Adams before this beer. And thinking about RBG May entice me to drink a little more, I don’t think I want to think of her while drinking. That’s just depressing.
