I thought it was weak. He apologize if anyone was offended and said they don’t discriminate based on color. Never said why they made the initial statement or why that doesn’t apply now. Just sounded like someone that knows the money stopped coming in and wants to try to save it.

They did this to themselves. The idiots forgot that nearly 70% of the United States is still made up of white people and only a tiny minority of those are "woke" and with this line of thinking. They will not be receiving a single penny from me this year. Maybe next year.

Can anyone give cliffs off what they did?

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. They can go to hell.

The gist of it is the Salvation Army asked white people to apologize for racism before donating to them.

Sounds like a great business decision when prob 80% of your donations come from that group.

When I went to help out at the West fertilizer explosion cleanup in 2013, I saw Franklin Graham himself there.

I am waiting for them to announce they have eliminated their Grand Poobah of Diversity and Inclusion before I drop another buck in the bucket, but the apology was a step in that direction.
I'm waiting for them to show us where all of that money goes.

These folks never heard of the Dixie Chicks?

Exactly. You don't have time to be read in on the racism narrative if you're truly out saving the world.

I'm waiting for them to clean house from top to bottom before I donate again.
They can start by getting rid of the homeless camp outside their center in our downtown location. The homeless go all the way over to the Post Office; it's so bad that they no longer can use the lockers to leave packages, you have to go during work hours to pick up a package. (Fortunately, I will be ridding myself of that expense next year as I no longer need my PO Box.)

should have explained right there loudly at the front

It's not good enough for white people to just donate money, we also need to apologize for being white

Words without actions are meaningless…look at their website…same woke drivel so they can eat cake.

We have a local charity that does that. And unlike Goodwill, you aren't limited to one donation bag a day; if you're cleaning out your closet for end-of-year donations they'll take whatever you give them if it's something they will take anyhow.

Just heard a rather profound and sincere apology / clarification from someone involved in the Salvation Army regarding their anti-white nonsense.
What was the statement made?
Posted on 12/23/21 at 1:31 pm to JPinLondon
This is exactly how we take our country back. They go woke, we have to make them broke.
