I see no apology on their Facebook page.

Does the internal group that put out that garbage handbook still exist? It needs to be disbanded and everyone associated needs to be fired. THEN we can talk about them getting my money again.

If I have learned one thing about this New America is this: No amount of apology can ever be effective or enough. White people born in the 21st century will be punished for things that White people did in the 19th century. Apologies and regrets won't stop the retribution.

So, let the Salv Army apologize. Somebody make sure to tell them that apologies mean NOTHING.

Wow that is a terrible statement from him. Completely tone deaf.

When the Wounded Warrior project returned a 50k donation to a church (not a mega church) citing a rule not to accept donations from religious organizations, it went public and viral. All hell broke loose. The Board of Directors met very quickly and reversed the policy. Something like that should happen with the SA.

The problem here is the Salvation Army has had more than enough time to address this situation and ask forgiveness for such divisive nonsense. Instead they have doubled down on it. That video has over 10,000 views, but 241 likes as of right now and the comments are turned off. That tells me that the reaction to his statement has been overwhelmingly negative. This was clearly the wrong way to respond to this situation, and they clearly do not understand the problem l. It is clear that the Salvation Army needs a "come to Jesus" moment, no pun intended.

The main problem here is they aren't apologizing. They're doubling down. Christians accept apologies. They would see an abrupt turnaround if they would admit their mistake.

He straight-up says eliminating positions based on "diversity, equity, and inclusion" is "not happening", but bookends the statement reiterating that they've never called America racist.

Then what the hell does your organization need those positions for? Because they sure aren't helping you raise money. Tone deaf indeed.

I left my catholic faith behind last year when our monseigneur went on a tirade about our ekklesia needing to address "internalized" racism. I'm of Filipino descent and this made me want to vomit.

Even the Catholic church is all in on these stupid marxist theories. The church can get fricked, all religious organizations can get it too. I'm still a believer but I no longer belong to any organization.

They get nothing from me. An apology is only tied to the drastic reduction in their revenue and is not sincere IMHO.

I said don't do that and I'll explain later. Told her about their anti-white nonsense.

Why be polite, don’t you get that’s how we ended up here? Politeness is weakness to the left. Say that shite where everyone here’s it. The guy outside the bass pro in Myrtle got this from me. “Not this year, this year you can rely on blacks donations and liberal tears to pay your bills”.

Another gem directly from their website:

More than a quarter of LGBTQ Americans are food insecure and rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

How stupid can a charity organization be? Did they not notice the vast majority of Americans dropping money in their kettles and mailing them money are baws and bawettes?
