We can pretend this isn't the case. But its been made pretty clear. I'm staunchly in favor of saving these children, and we should not just let them be ripped apart in the womb and atand by, but I realize I am in the minority. And Republicans are cowards who will likely start backpeddling away on it like they have on every other issue in my lifetime (like Gay Marriage)

The good news is it shouldn't be a big issue next year IMO. I do think it hurt Rs last year.

I think abortion is wrong but I also realize that mostly Dems have abortions so that's quite a conundrum

If we allow and tolerate abortion as society can we even claim to be civilized?

If it makes it any better for you, a vast majority of abortions would have been future democrat voters and welfare dependants.

The Ohio ballot was written to be as confusing and easy to obfuscate as possible. If the ballot initiative was "Do you want to legalize abortion or not? It would have been voted down.

Ohio passed a very strict abortion ban (heartbeat) without any exceptions for rape or incest before Roe was overturned.

They did this to themselves.

Abortion keeps down the riff raff. That’s why liberals love it. That and they are sluts.

States have the right to decide. That is the way it should be.

I disagree.

It's pretty clear to everyone what the amendment will do.

But it will also be interesting to see what it will look like if/when there is a superseding constitutional amendment on the next ballot.

Facebook ads. Major media. Soros money. Uninformed public.

The Ohio language was clear. No abortions after fetus is viable outside the womb as determined by reasonable means by attending physician. No review of a physician’s review.

Fetal viability is moot when the life or health of the mother is a determinant factor. This means a woman can abort at any time if her mental health, financial health, or any other health reason is accepted by her attending physician, with no review.

How many abortion doctors are like the most prolific serial killer in American history, Richard Gosnell?

Ohio’s abortion constitutional amendment is not about reproductive rights for women, it is for infanticide. Plain and simple.

Demorats are evil. They are racist and fascist.

I’ve been thinking lately that the abortion issue has far, far less to do with killing babies than it does with women simply not wanting to be told what to do.

If Republicans’ political fortunes hinge on women liking being told what to do, they’re royally screwed.

Abortion issue is more about women having the right to choose what to do with their bodies than it is as yall say “killing babies”, a right was taken from women and they are mad, it a losing conservative issue during election cycles

A right was taken? No abortions have happened since the overturn of Roe?
