Unfortunately partisan gerrymandering is entirely legal at present.
That’s what happens in those places.
Louisiana’s map was only found unconstitutional because it was drawn with the sole consideration of creating a black majority district. Which of course, was by design to get that exact ruling, but it isn’t an expansive one.
For SC or GA or AL or anywhere else’s districts to be “illegal”, they would have to be challenged and a judge find that they are racial gerrymanders. Only Louisiana’s map was ruled on.

Just like in La., if the Map don't ensure at least one Black Rep, the whole thing will explode. Especially Clyburn.

Yes I understand this. But you keep hearing about districts in Illinois and California that are gerrymandered along racial lines in weird shapes to increase democrats districts

I’ll preach this to the mountaintops. The RINOs are waiting for Clyburn to die. They are scared to death to be called racists. I’m old enough to remember when SC 6 was first created. It was gerrymandered then and for the life of me I don’t see why it can’t be redrawn now.
