So in 2024, the Poles suggested that they would not rule out sending troops into Ukraine, echoing French statements. Then a few weeks ago, Donald Tusk has said that Polish troops are not going to Ukraine.
From my view, given their massive reorganization in recent years, they do not have a large amount of troops ready to deploy, which is the major issue for most European countries save for France and Turkey.

Like if Poland, Germany, and France sent troops to Ukraine and started fighting Russia that would not invoke article 5 but if Russia carried out a missile strike inside one of those countries it would. Or at least that's my understanding of it, I might be completely wrong though and just talking out my arse

Yea, I know. What I was saying that if NATO troops are sent to Ukraine and start fighting Russia and that fighting is contained to just Ukraine then it would not invoke Article 5. Now is that likely to happen no Russia will probably carry out long range missile attacks inside Europe.

They occupy the most important geopolitical region in the world. That's why they are in NATO. Without that organization, I would worry about their imperialist aims.

Turkey is only in NATO because at the height of the cold war we needed bases in the middle east. Turkey is usually against us whenever they can be and in the past has been more closely aligned with Russia than NATO.

Putin not going to use nukes unless people are marching on Moscow. Just more nuclear saber rattling (which they’ve repeatedly done) that’s an obvious bluff.
Besides, all mentions of troops are only for after the fighting has stopped. I.e. if there is a fight it means Russia tried to take more territory while the troops are there.

The only reason you can argue that is because the US wouldn't do technology transfers for Patriot missile systems. Otherwise, the Turks have the most antagonistic relationship with Russia, both historically and recently in Syria.

I think the best thing for everyone is for Russia and US to get a minerals deal ASAP. Trump and Putin standing together is the only thing to shut these children up.
