But we are still buying 800K barrels of oil from them per day

Russian vodka pulled from shelves in US, Canada bars, liquor stores: ‘Every small thing makes a difference’

How many stupid people will celebrate this but put some Ruskie oil in their cars today not realizing just two years ago we were energy independent and didn't need Russian oil?

Liquor stores across the U.S. and Canada have started throwing out their stocks of Russian vodka in protest of President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, according to reports.

Idiots.

The smart business guys are now hiding the Russian vodka behind the counter selling it for a premium.

The local WalMart has pulled Russian salad dressing from the shelves.

Not really.

I'm sorry, but of all the alcoholic drinks I've tried in my life I cannot tell expensive vodka from cheap vodka. It all tastes the same.

Nothing special.

Vodka can be made from any grain. There is a slight difference between vodkas and most American vodka are sourced from the same corn ethanol plats in the Midwest used to fuel your car.

Tito's "handmade" vodka is bull shite. All they do is get a fuel truck, pull up the to the ethanol plant, buy food grade ethanol, bring it to their bottling facility, cut it to 40%, and sell it. 80% of the American vodka you see on the shelf is made this way. They may differentiate themselves by finishing with a little sugar, glycerol, and different types of water to make the cut.

Those stores already paid for the vodka. Pulling it from the shelves doesn’t hurt anybody but the store owners.
