Brave and patriotic Americans have HAD IT with war; there is no way they they go to bat for corrupt and illegitimate Joe Biden and the Transnational Progressive Dem Party. NO WAY.

There is a price to pay for letting corrupt people steal an election. Independent-minded Ukrainians who stood by and did not spill the beans on Joe et al, are going to pay. We all will. "Sew the wind...".

I will not choose sides in this war. After all, it's the innocent citizens, the elderly, the children who suffer terribly in war. But be assured the warhawks led by Joe Biden have chosen sides. Rather than seek to promote peace through dialogue Biden is fanning the flames of war. America has boots on the ground in Ukraine. That says it all right there. This war can (and will) get nasty real fast.

Having said that, IMO Ukraine is a democrats dream, a money-laundering operation extraordinaire. What sticks out in my mind? Quid Pro Quo Joe Biden openly describing how he leaned on the Ukraine to pull the prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden's kickback scheme.

So you Biden supporters cringe? Remember this it may not be your sons who come back in body bags from the Ukraine. But then maybe it will be your husbands, sons, and fathers.

War is hell, and I don't want any part of it. At the very least America has no business sending our soldiers to die in the Ukraine.

Fraudulent elections have consequences.

Watching Joe be unable to walk up the stairs was a perfect metaphor for his absolute failure of a presidency.

Stupid democrats. Obama meets with Medvedev in the now-famous open-mic promise to do more when he's reelected. NOBAMA gets reelected and forces the Ukrainians to give up their nukes, in exchange for an American defensive umbrella. Pooky the imbecile. So Ukraine gives up its nuclear deterrent. Leaves the door open for Russia to move against Ukraine. They promptly annex Crimea, then establish a foothold in the Donbas region.

The bottom line, the Russian bear is hungry. The Ruskies are poised to invade Ukraine. The Obama - Biden clown show, most likely, just handed Ukraine to the Ruskies. Which given Ukraine is a democrat money-laundering shithole, that might not be a bad turn of events.

Yep, the Obama - Biden disastrous Ukrainian policy is coming home to roost. On by the way did I mention America has boots on the ground in Ukraine?

Stupid is as stupid does. You can't make this stuff up.

No Patriotic man will fight in Biden's army.

He will have to win it with his trannies and illegals since he has stated the rest of us are racists and evil.

I hope Russia wins.

I think Russia would crush the Ukraine or the EU for that matter. Russia has made major changes to their military since 2014.

1. When Russia invaded the Crimes, Ukraine had ~150,000 personal in their armed forces. However most of these were conscripts and support people. Ukraine had less than 10,000 personal in their army that were combat-ready. They had less than 100 tanks that were operational and only 23 aircraft in their entire air force that were able to fly. The only real thing they had going for them was that they had lots and lots of old equipment and ammo laying around. That is not the case now. Ukraine has around 200,000 combat-ready troops now. They have modernized approximately 500 tanks over the past 7 years. Their air force and navy still suck but their fighter planes can at least fly now.

2. Ukraine has been facing the threat of a Russian invasion for 7 years now and unlike the Russians they have been fighting a hybrid war for 7 years now too. Their military commanders know that Russia would slaughter them if they fought them head to head. So I highly doubt that they would fight the head to head. Ukraine has 200,000 troops and it still has ton of artillery shells and other explosives to make IEDs. Everyone knows that if Russia invades its main objective will be to capture and hold the dam and water intake structures for the North Crimean Canal. There are only three highways going from Russia controlled Crimea to Nova Kakhova. The Ukrainians will turn the E97, T2022, and the P47 into three of the longest IED allies in history PDQ. Sure tanks and APCs can go off road in theory but their supply trucks cannot. Plus it is the spring thaw over there right now and that 80kms would have to be made over wet fields that just happen to be in the flood path of any potential breaks in the retaining walls of the North Crimean Canal. So there are a lot more factors in play than just troop numbers.

3. A lot of people on this board keep repeating the same stuff about eastern Ukrainians being pro-Russian, but have any of yall ever been to eastern Ukraine? Have yall been in the last seven years? Just because people call them Russian speaking Ukrainians (the correct term is Ukrainians of Russian descent because everyone there is bilingual and can speak Ukrainian almost easily as Russia btw) doesn't mean they are pro-Russian. I was in Kharkiv and multiple villages east of Severodonetsk eastern Ukraine in the summer of 2019 and I can honestly say that the vast majority of the population f**king hate Russia. The population Ukrainians of Russian descent might not be pro-European and they are slightly less pro-Ukrainian than the Ukrainians in western cities such as Lviv but they are not pro-Russian. They might have been prior to 2014 but they are not anymore.

So yes, Russia would crush Ukraine if Ukraine tried to fight them straight up. It would basically be like the first Gulf War with the Ukrainians being the Iraqis and Russia being the coalition forces. However, it will not be as easy as you make it sound because Ukraine will probably will not try to fight Russia in a heads up fight. Ukraine can make life hell for Vladimir Parkinson Putin by blowing up the dam in Nova Kakhova and/or the North Crimean Canal then fighting an insurgency in eastern Ukraine. Blowing the dam and/or parts of the canal would deny Russia from achieving its main goal of solving the water crisis in Crimea. I would hate to be the Russian soldiers trying to stop an insurgency in east Ukraine because Ukraine has the soldiers and the equipment to send across the Dnieper river and do things that causes a lot of Russian soldiers to go back home to Mother Russia in body bags. Thanks to technology, they won't be able to hide the body bags or the truth about Crimea going dry, which it will because Putin spent all of Russia's money and efforts on building a bridge to Crimea instead of building water pipelines from Russian territory to Crimea then ole Parkinson's Putin will be in big trouble because the average Russian citizen does not care about Crimea anymore. They care about how they cannot afford their rent or groceries because the Russia government has offered $0 to its citizens through out the covid crisis.

quote:

They’re using in house technology instead of relying on western military systems and technology like they were 10 years ago.

Since when has Russian technology ever been known to a net be a positive for a military? Russia has basically abandoned the T-14 project because the tank it too expensive an unreliable. Russia's stealth fighter is at least 10 years behind schedule and the 24 Su57s that have been built are basically grounded because their Russian designed ones still are not powerful enough and/or reliable enough for the plane. Basically the Su57 development f**k ups make the F-35 development f**k ups look good.

I have another question for you people. Biden is corrupt as f**k. I am not denying that, but so is Putin. Putin may be the richest man and he achieved that wealth through corruption. He is no friend to the USA and never will be. Plus the dude is ex KGB and his administration is responsible for a f**k ton of human rights abuse. Plus Russian intelligence agent(s) were the sources for the accusations in the Steele's dossier which basically bogged down Trump's entire Presidency. Biden and the dems got made millions from Ukraine's national gas company, but that company was buying its gas at inflated rates from Russia. So Putin was making just as much $$$ off of corruption in Ukraine as Biden was. So why all the love for Vladimir Putin?

War with Russia would end in a nuclear Holocaust. But the academics of US AirPower vs Russian air defense systems is interesting. How good are they? Would we be able to overpower them?

It might not. I highly doubt that current administrations in the USA, France, or UK would initiate a first strike. If US/NATO forces just fought back and pushed Russian forces back onto the Russian side of its borders then I doubt the Russians would launch a first strikes. However if one NATO soldier sets foot or even pisses across the border into Mother Russia then Russian might just do it. Of course our President has Alzheimers and Putin has Parkinsonism which eventually leds to dementia. So in a few years we really could have a couple of angry old men with dementia and control of thousands of nukes. That is a scary thought.

How good are they?

Obviously they are good enough to scare us or we would not already be working on developing a 6th generation fighter as well as the B-21 bomber.

Would we be able to overpower them?

Probably. It takes a powerful radar to detect and track a F-22 or F-35 and that makes for easy targets for wild weasels to go after. It would take multiple kinds of aircraft working together and we would take some casualties but we could probably do it.

The only thing that is certain about a war between Russia and NATO is that the medical corps would be busy AF. Battle field casualties plus STDs from having lots of horny soldiers rotating off the lines in eastern europe where the slavic women will be needing $$$ to survive in war torn areas. It would be so bad the army would probably even have to call up residents like me.

It's not like the Soldiers get a choice where, when or why to fight. The Government decides that for you. You are just fighting (w/ some F'd up ROEs at that) for your buddy next to you, so you all can come home together.

Thank God I retired in November last year and have had the privilege of NOT serving under this Anti-American Administration.

Zelensky knows that if those two breakaway republics gain autonomy Putin will use them to destabilize Ukraine. That is why he is wanting to retake control there. That is why he has recently called for fast track NATO membership. Germany and France are not going to support him. Obama and Soros created this mess with their 2014 coup. The latest that I have heard is Zelensky and Ukraine will attend a Peace Summit with Russia, Germany and France. Putin has a lot to lose if he invades. The west will turn against him again and it might be the end of Nordstream 2.

Putin has granted Russian visas to thousands of people in the Donbass technically making them Russian citizens. If Ukraine goes in to try and retake the region Putin will go in to "protect" those "Russian citizens". Zelensky will not go forward with an offensive without having the guarantee of NATO troops in country.

Anybody willing to go die so our politicians can continue laundering our "foreign aid" dollars in Ukraine is too stupid to be in the gene pool.
