Trump needs to stop nominating people from the HOR. They will have to resign their House seat once they are confirmed by the Senate. Even if the seat seems safe it may not be. You never know when the locals might nominate a Kari Lake type candidate who would lose to dead octopus. Plus the House seat is vacant for 3 months or so while the special election is being conducted. He is destroying his chance at having any legislation passed in his first 100 days.

Do you honestly believe that the District that elected Matt F'Ing Gaetz is going to suddenly go all RINO squish neocon?
I'm more worried about Gaetz getting thru the confirmation process bc of the Swamp People that hate him and are seeking payback for Kevin McCarthy than anything else.
Plus, just as a lawyer, I love this pick in every way.
