Lol if he’s such a gift to Democrats (as has already been said over and over here) why would they be trying to put him in jail at all in the first place?? He’s only a “gift to Democrats” if he not merely announces a Presidential run, but combined with the announcement of his own third party as well? Y’all will say anything. Same as has been said about the left and MSM so much.

LMAOOOO He’s totally not gonna torpedo America’s future though. Dems will win in every non-rural area, install endless mail in voting and America will be done. Muh principles though. Imagine simping for this guy after he did nothing to drain the swamp and supported lockdowns. Y’all are deranged

Imagine pretending that that Washington is going to stop doing what they found out they can get away with.

because he was campaigning for the people who he hopes will join his new party

And that was such a well kept secret amongst all those people and their campaign teams that no Never Trump Republicans or the left picked up on it to use as a hammer to beat the Trump candidates over the head with? Sorta doubt that.

So you just prefer having 75% dem in senate and house without the need to even cheat for the dems as opposed to having pretty even splits with cheating? Makes alot of sense, great idea patriot.

MAGA in the republican party has run its course. Just like the tea party. The truth is the GOP hated those people. The only way forward for maga/tea party type patriots is a third party.i cannot support the lisa Murkowski,Lindsey Graham, mitt Romney, and mitch mcconnell party any longer.

If this were a just world, that is all he should have to say - because it is absolutely true.

however, we live in a world where over half of the people are intellectually malformed, so nothing good can possibly work. they will not allow it unless it results in their having absolute power over every aspect of life.

Hope all the dnc-ers enjoy your velvet chains.

I think he’s prepared to do that and has demonstrated his willingness and ability to do so. You can count on one hand the any “high profile” Republican officials (ones that don’t wish death on Republicans already, i.e. Cheney et al) that he’s got any beef with right now.

**But I do agree with you as a general matter, it’s a good and relevant point.

His pride will never let it happen. For all his strengths, he just refuses to shut up when shutting up is appropriate.

Sometimes you have to curry the favor of people who only agree with you 2/3rds of the time to win elections. Those people are turned off by ideological purity tests and constant fire and brimstone,

If he does it, and I hope he doesn't I will join him. I'd rather go down fighting than go down with a boot on my neck.

If anyone ever had a better standing to take that stance than he, I'd like to know who it might be.

Hes taking a stand by giving an election to the dems without the need to cheat?

"Maga taking a big stand for real Americans, for the real patriots, for the same day voters! We are gonna, we are gonna... we are gonna basically give the dems the election and power over us for free, without them needing to take any effort! Queue the patriot gifs, we are taking a stand! Rawr take that! See what we stand for!"

Half this board has officially jumped the shark. Cut off your nose to spite your face.

I understand what you’re saying, but I just perceive that Trump’s a pretty serious pragmatist and is more interested in solving problems than he is a contest of principles. Not saying principles don’t matter, they sure do and I have every belief that Trump is of same opinion, but at this perilous point in history it won’t save the place and make it safer and better “for our children and grandchildren”.

If Trump forms a new party, it will be clear to me that he was never on our side.

They’re all (most) on the same side. I’m not watching more theater and pretending it’s real life. Playing their game is what they want. If we’re going down, I’m going down swinging.

Have they really tried to put him in jail?

Or have they run a series of theatrical productions?

They knew neither impeachment would remove him. Did them anyway.

I'm not a Trump fan any longer, but just what was he supposed to do over the past couple years?

Post a few more "Statements from the desk of Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States"?
