Saw on X, that is the word from some party officials.

Would explain drudge becoming more leftwing lately

The site is basically unreadable

I used to go to Drudge dozens of times per day...I have probably been less than 10 times total since he moved left...I have to imagine his traffic has suffered.

Drudge was bought out during the Trump administration and flipped completely overnight. As a result, I don’t use it anymore.

My brother is a soy boy liberal and sent me something from Drudge today. I guess that's the audience now.

Drudge was the site for long time. I think social media passed him by.

Drudge is gay, the Dems have a bigger cross section with that bunch than the 93% they have with the AA’s

Me too. That was where I started my day to find out what was going on in the world. Now I come here.

For years, Drudge was the first site I hit every day. That stopped in 2016.

The entire appeal of Drudge was that it was a news aggregator for journalism that ran contrary to the mainstream media narrative. If ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/WAPO/NYT/CNBC, etc were all covering the same story from the same point of view using the same language, you could go to Drudge and not just find an opposing viewpoint, but like 20 other stories those sources aren’t even bothering to cover.

After it was bought out, it just became an aggregater for the same mainstream sources I used to go to Drudge ti avoid. If I wanted to read those sources, I wouldn’t go to drudge. I would just read the homepage of any search engine, go on any social media platform, turn on a tv, or head to the AP’s website. By changing Drudge’s aggregation, it destroyed the only reason anyone used it.

His official statement back then was: 'I tried it and decided it wasn't for me.'
He was a daily go-to site 20 years ago. I think his switch had something to do with a LOT of money thrown his way. I haven't gone there in years.

YOu don't think there's any value in seeing the interpretation or application that is being made by the other side, if for no other reason than to be aware of it in decussion.
