Just reading through comments from various local media social media posts about it (including the conservative Yellowhammer News), Moore does not have the support. Most people I’ve seen realize that he can’t beat Jones, regardless of whether or not the allegations against Moore were true.

Never change, gumps. BY which I mean, immediately change, gumps.
At this point, I almost have to suspect that he's being paid by democrats to run. No one could be this much of a clueless egomaniac.

We need Mo Brooks.

Finally, the Republican version of Joe Biden.

Support needs to coalesce around a non-Moore alternative. Hell, I bet Moore could still win with increased turnout from a Presidential election, but he's not worth the additional damage having him on the ticket would do for races in other states.
BOOM - great minds...

Jones has zero shot and it does not matter who runs Moore would beat him in 2020, but is STILL a bad choice as he gives the left a "boogeyman" very much like Pelosi and AOC are for the right
Although Moore would certainly win in Alabama, his presence on the ticket would be a boost to Democrats in other places - I.E "Look how batshit crazy those Republicans are, do YOU want people like Roy Moore running the country?"

He didn't have it last year and won the primary.

Democrats have a dump truck full of money backed up, waiting to drop the load the second Moore wins the primary. Moore wins and Alabama becomes senate battleground numero uno come 2020.

I think NRSC is backing Bradley Byrne

BREAKING: Alabama Republican Roy Moore announces another run for U.S. Senate in 2020 after losing in 2017 amid misconduct allegations.
Alabamans, don't be frightened about Judge Roy Moore, defeat him! It may take a little work but join in with those who will compete with him and work to get him retired! That silly man riding on that tiny pony! Defeat him.

Anyone can run for Senate. Alabama just has to do better at the voting booth this time.

81% of Alabama voters polled do not want Roy Moore to run (per radio broadcast this morning).
He'll never get the nomination.

Well, as of now, Mo isn’t running. So he isn’t a choice.
