The U.S. Constitution, the "Supreme Law of The Land," was designed to chain down the federal government. Considering that the federal government is the biggest government to ever exist on Earth, it's obvious that the Constitution has failed. Those in power found a loophole.

In my opinion, the loophole is the laziness of the American people.

I wanted Ron Paul for President over RINO fake Mit Romney back in 2012.

But the state run media brainwashed the sheeple into believing he was "unelectable"....that's "just crazy ole uncle Ron"

Yes, but we've allowed the left to move unimpeded for decades to get to this point. We didn't bat an eye about them taking over the schools. Couldn't be bothered to elect congressmen with integrity. Couldn't be bothered to show up to elections that weren't for the president. We've basically been asleep since the 80's as a group and here we are.

I remember he’d win every single straw poll (was either 2008 or 2012, I was in high school anyway so don’t remember exactly) and Hannity would always get so bent out of shape over it and blame it on his cult following online. Since then I’ve always hated Hannity

When I watched FOX I’d be sure to flip the station when Tucker was over

Dude has been right far more than he’s wrong.
His exit speech to Congress, calling them all cowards and criminals, is something I will forever cherish.

Of course he's right. The man has integrity. I don't understand how he stayed in Congress so long. God bless Texas, I guess.

Ron Paul is to the right, what Bernie Sanders is to the left.

Yeah they ignore the constitution and or twist it to meet their narrative without repercussion. The lack of accountability is the loophole.

Good at identifying the correct problems but horrible at providing workable solutions? I can kind of see it but I would disagree.

However, Paul wasn't a sellout bitch to the establishment, nor a complete and total fraud. So as a man, he is nothing like Bernie.

No true supporter of the principles of limited government can deny that history has proven the AntiFederalists prophetic:

“When the American spirit was in its youth, the language of America was different: liberty, sir, was then the primary object. But now, sir, the American spirit, assisted by the ropes and chains of consolidation, is about to convert this country into a powerful and mighty empire. Such a government is incompatible with the genius of Republicanism. There will be no checks, no real balances, in this government. What can avail your specious, imaginary balances, your rope-dancing, chain-rattling, ridiculous ideal checks and contrivances?” Patrick Henry, Virginia’s delegate to the First and Second Continental Congress.

Of course, it has failed. The idea of a Constitution and a strong central government was a betrayal of the Revolution. It was designed to fail. It began failing as soon as it was formed. It’s been an officially dead document since 1865.

Has the constitution failed, or have we failed it? If you ignore the document, it’s not the documents fault everything goes to shite.

IT has failed. The whole point of a document with alleged checks and balances was that people were fallible. I mean if you want to call the Constitution a noble attempt, do so if it makes you feel better. But you shouldn’t have any illusion that if people were better it would work. If people were better, it wouldn’t be necessary.

Ron Paul calling out the oligarchy.

It’s a shame that the media was out to get him. He’s not a charismatic guy, and they used that against him in every way possible.

In some ways, as an outsider, perhaps he was the precursor to Trump’s antiestablishment appeal.
