Well I guess I can’t necessarily speak to another poster’s intentions, but it certainly is a thing that in America people manage to always catch when a person who they pay attention to has a fairly sudden weight fluctuation. Then goes the imagination. All I’ll say is if you’re gonna do a sudden weight fluctuation, go heavier, not noticeably lighter. It’s the lighter that sometimes makes people talk. Just a random observation while we’re on the subject.

I always thought it was juvenile as hell when people would post unflattering pictures of Trump, as if that said anything about the job he was doing as president. Yeah, he used spray tan and was overweight; didn't care. Still don't.

I’ve always thought that choosing between Casey DeSantis & Melania Trump is like choosing between Mary Ann and Ginger from Gilligan’s Island.
Melania may more resemble the runway model she once was but Casey DeSantis is like the cute homecoming queen next door.
Some may the prefer the glitz and glamour but as for me, I’ve always loved me some Mary Ann!

Your random observation is noted and appreciated. Anonymous internet discussion forums are the perfect place for random observations. And I do happen to agree with you, by the way. The original aspect of this thread isn’t necessarily my cup of tea, but like I said, if anything’s worth mentioning, it’s just to proactively avoid wearing clothes that appear too big on you. It will get the rumor mill going. I’ve seen it happen in real life.

Wearing that suit, it is no wonder. That suit is about 2 sizes too small in the chest and shoulders. A poorly fitted and undersized suit restricts your movement.

You're right. I guess the reason is rapid weight loss means a significant amount of muscle is also lost. It leads to the "sickly" appearance. The loss of "healthy" lean body mass makes people look gaunt.
There's also the reality that people get used to seeing a person a certain way. Good or bad, that's just how it is. Grow a beard and everyone thinks you're going through a mid-life crisis. Always had a beard? - no problem.
Change throws people off. Gradual change is the best way to go. And it's healthier when talking about weight.
