Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Tuesday said the party should move away from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) as House GOP leaders discuss how to handle her.

“I think we should have nothing to do with Marjorie Taylor Greene, and think we should repudiate the things she said and move away from her,” Romney told reporters.

Asked if he was surprised by McConnell’s comments, Romney said it was important for the Republican Party to “separate ourselves from the people in the wacky weeds.”

“If we don't, then our opposition tries to brand us with their image and with their point of view, which has been detrimental to any party that doesn't do that,” Romney said.

Romney previously criticized Greene after she disclosed that she has spoken with former President Trump, who she has the support of.

“Lies of a feather flock together: Marjorie Taylor Greene’s nonsense and the 'big lie' of a stolen election,” Romney tweeted.

Romney is the typical politician who knows the media will give him attention if he tells them what they want to hear.

He just wants to be stroked.

This Mormon cuck is admitting that standing for what you believe is less important than what you're perceived as by the liberal media.

Which brings us back to the question...with assholes like this, do we leave the GOP or take it over from within?

They're isolating anything that had anything to do with Trump. The GOPe is dead. This is going to be a tough midterm for them.

To me, any condemnation or criticism from The Squad, Rino's, or Romney would be a badge of honor which I would proudly wear.

Why? Did it hurt the Demoncrats to stick with the squad? Maybe we should have nothing to do with Romney.

and McConnell is about as popular in KY right now. Whether he has planned it or not this is his last term.

I think a America First Party would be great but taking the GOP over from within might be the fastest way to force change.

Mitt Romney is a threat to our democracy.

Why does Mitt Romney hate democracy?

This woman was elected with 70% of the vote.

She is a public servant sent to Washington to represent the people who sent her there. She does not work for the Republican Party.
