See, this is over the top excessive. Stone is being hyperbolic for one reason - DeSantis is a threat to overtake Trump. And I hate this tactic.

Trump's yes men are going to attack DeSantis. He is too popular and Trump will not share the spotlight. I love many things about Trump, but he has his flaws. Trump is about to turn his hard core base against DeSantis, wait and see. Expect DeSantis to catch major attacks from the Trump people and the left. Neither want DeSantis running for POTUS.

Hate to say it, but this is the same ish that Trump did with Ted's father, implying he was tight with Fidel and even had a hand in the assassination of JFK. This pisses me off bigly. There's a real threat to the country now and this asshat Stone is treating it like a g-damn reality show.

As of RIGHT NOW, I would happily vote DeSantis for president.
However, if he can't handle a little barrage of shite-talking from "Trump people," I'd probably question his ability to face the sort of blowback he would face if he actually gets in office and pushes to do the shite that really needs to be done.
In other words, I'm not getting worked up about stuff like this and in some ways think it may be healthy.

I agree that the Desantis Trump war is coming.
Trump has already low key attacked Desantis because he wouldn't say if he was boosted or not. But he didn't do it by name.
Desantis is secretly in support of establishment efforts to take Trump out. bullshite investigations like the NY stuff and Jan 6.
Desantis can't take Trump out himself but he won't be mad if someone else does it.
He also came out this week stating that we know the China travel ban didn't help even if it was the right thing to do at the time.
Trump still believes it saved millions. It didn't.
This will be interesting to watch.
