The temporary order comes hours before lower-court rulings would have forced a halt to aboveground construction. The brief, one-page document does not detail Roberts' reasoning or lay out a timeline for a fuller decision from the high court.
A Washington-based judge ordered work to stop because Trump didn't have congressional approval. The decision was signed by Roberts because he oversees appeals of cases filed in the capital.

What is Roberts going to do with an almost complete ballroom if the USSC stops construction. Force the Congress to pass a law funding its demolition? That aint happening. And even if Congress decides to defund it, Trump just vetoes it. Then what? And eyesore for the foreseeable future?

If DJT were to contract Illegal aliens to finish the project the Dems would drop the lawsuit. SCOTUS would also rule in DJT's favor 9-0.

Well, before we have a problem with kickbacks in this situation, it would first be nice to have a little something more as proof than a poster on an anonymous message board claiming kickbacks are “inevitable” in this situation.

No surprise at all.A 9-3 bias that will always favor Trump clearly shows there's no separation of the Judicial and Executive Branches of our government.
