No one thinks it’s only one side but here’s why its destructively worse that democrats do it:

Democrats are the party that claims to stand for the little guy by using the power of government to hold business accountable.

Instead what they are is:

The party that uses government to enrich themselves while selling favors and protection to business thus creating a mechanism, not yo hold them accountable, but to help business gain MORE power.

It’s like getting molested sucks but getting molested by a parent is 1000x worse than a guy in a van because the parent is supposed to be protecting you!

The simple argument is the ethical component, and using insider info to extract value.

Then there is the argument that on many trades, there are losers on the other side. Especially when you get into options trading and not just individual stocks, which is what Pelosi does.

And most of it was in cryptocurrency, which he spent years badmouthing as being a mechanism of shady money. He heavily deregulated it, then proceeded to make well over $1 billion off of it in a year.
