RNC sues Michigan Secretary of State Benson over voter roll maintenance

"Election integrity starts with clean voter rolls, and that’s why the National Voter Registration Act requires state officials to keep their rolls accurate and up-to-date," RNC Chairman Michael Whatley said "Jocelyn Benson has failed to follow the NVRA, leaving Michigan with inflated and inaccurate voter rolls ahead of the 2024 election."
An RNC analysis found that 76 of Michigan’s 83 counties have inflated voter rolls, which indicates that the state has not complied with the federal law, according to the Republican group.
In addition to Benson, the lawsuit also names Michigan Bureau of Elections Director Jonathan Brater as a defendant.

It matters. In a state like Michigan, every bad registration is a potential blue drop box vote. Those are the backbone of the con.

Hopefully the RNC is working closely with the high-ups in Florida and North Carolina to ensure that we're addressing the low hanging fruit while there's still time.
When you see how the fix clearly WASN'T in in Florida and North Carolina in 2020, that makes those two states our ideal. Whatever those states have done / are doing should be our goal for every other state (realizing that Dem controlled states would be tough to crack).

IMO the good news is that it seems like GA is falling back into our column pretty squarely. Anecdotally there's no way that the Dems will be able to spike the African American vote so hard in 2024 as they did in 2020 and 2022. The polls back that up very strongly. Trump just needs to be somewhat savvy and not say anything fresh that can be twisted.
It really would make sense for Trump to pick a black person as his running mate, but Tim Scott and Ben Carson are just not it. It's too bad that James kid in Michigan never broke through b/c he had the look and the record and the charm to be a national political star.

IMO If their rolls and election procedures do not meet federal standards, they simply should not count. All of their electoral votes are thrown out, period.
If you don’t play by the rules/laws, you don’t get to participate. Simple as that.

My Dad was sent a mail in ballot from Michigan for the 2020 election that was never requested. He passed away in March of 2018. The ballot was sent to me. I did not use it.

Black people are highly transient.... aka why they say "where I stay" as opposed to "where I live."
They'll claim it's unfair to scrub voter rolls due to the transient nature of the underrepresented class. They should be able to vote wherever they choose, and not be confined to racist zones or specific polling places.

I noticed something last night that this reminds me of.
Since I don't live in a swing state but travel to both NV and AZ regularly for work, I volunteered with both states' GOP to offer up help.
I saw this on the Nevada GOP site and went back and screen grabbed it. New folks are apparently doing work.

Our neighbors (GA) got a Michigan mail-in ballot at their old house in Michigan that they hadn't lived in for over a decade. Luckily, the resident knew them and let them know.

This should have been done a long time ago and needs to happen in every state. They also need to sue states that let illegals vote or get on the rolls. It is way past time to play hardball with the Dems.

The new RNC leadership is wasting no time! Clean voter rolls makes it harder to cheat with mail in ballots. Beginning to get the question, "what's Trump going to do to stop/slow down Dem cheating", answers.
