It's the liberal MO. Same approach to politics, media, etc. Repeat the bullshite over and over, and act like that nobody told you to stfu every single time, that's tantamount to agreement that you're right. The prosecution bullied the court.
The parts of this trial I saw, the judge did not impress me. He seemed as tuned into how he was playing across the country as he was what was going on in his courtroom.
I don't think the defense ever realized they were in a war of attrition. They thought they won by TKO in round 2, and then coasted until the final bell.

They're too laid back.
They should have been screaming objections today at the end.

They better have something amazing for closing arguments if they're just going to let this crap go without a fight.
They can assert that Kyle had already had his life threatened by Rosenbaum twice at that point, and had Ziminsky point a gun at him by then.
Easy.
Judge should have never allowed it for that very reason.

Btw, did anyone catch Kyle's face today when the judge made that ruling? He looked sick to his stomach.

Because he knows he's going to jail. Probably for a very long time.
The only reason? His defense, specifically Richards, fricking quit.

This is a great 2 minute analysis video about how the state is lying about the enhanced video.
Sorry to link to Twitter, but it’s worth it.
Damn.
This is why the judge should have not let something so vague/nebulous in as evidence.
What a f'n shitshow.

This is a political trial, and in a political trial the government always wins.

Someone figure out a way to send that to the lawyers

They don't care.
It appears they may be in on it in order to quash rioting.
They totally gave it away today.

Well, they got a stiff uppercut to the chin which wasn't even needed today.
I mean, what kind of defense attorney allows the prosecution to introduce new evidence at closing in which the prosecutor isn't even sworn in.
"hey jury, that's kyle in that video and all these people are running because he is pointing his big gun at them"
I'm not saying Kyle won't win, but his attorney is not one I would want. Kyle even knew it, you could see it on his face.

Very informative video. I think it’s too late for the judge to change his mind. Could the defense play the video in closing arguments? I assume not sense it wasn’t introduced in trial. Can they talk about it in close?

Based on a read of the judge, the way to get any message/idea to the lawyers or judge is to have it played on national TV a ton. That video/analysis should be played on Tucker Carlson and/or other news/opinion shows.
So it's Carlson and others this video needs to be sent to.

You could see Kyle's face, he knew it. His attorney has failed him.
The prosecution did more to bolster his claim of self defense than the defense did, and the defense's failure to protect Rittenhouse during cross did more to help the prosecution case than any evidence presented by the ADAs.

If Kyle is found guilty of anything, our entire nation loses. Self defense no longer has any meaning at that point.
At this point, its on the jury to figure out with common sense what judge/defense attorney are failing to clear up with proper due process.
There was a shooting at a disorderly public gathering.
Prosecution is stating:
a) Rittenhouse should not have been there
b) should not have been armed legally
c) aimed the firearm at someone, provoking a defensive response
A and, I think B, will fail. He's not from Alabama, he's from 10 miles away, this is like someone from Baker being in Baton Rouge. Different town, but only a few minutes away. State lines do not matter, it's like Florabama.
I believe they have sufficiently addressed whether he had any legal access to the rifle (he does, as I understand it).
C: did he point the gun at someone. If they can prove that, that does allow for a response; "this guy pointed a gun at my friend, and I felt he was going to shoot him, so I tackled him prior to the shooting".
I don't see how they have proven or shown that, but it's the avenue they are going with.
I guess, conversely, one could argue that Kyle, being an inexperienced and young guy, overreacted to Rosembaum, and shot him because he was intimidated (but not a threat). But I think the autopsy showed that Rosenbaum was close enough to be a threat, not merely just some dude 30 ft away and screaming. I believe it's established Rosenbaum was close when he was shot.
Sucks for the prosecution that they have to use Rosenbaum, who's been shown completely agitated, as the "hero" attempting to do this.
If they could have established that Rosenbaum was at a distance and his behavior "rattled" Rittenhouse into shooting him, I think you have a winnable case... I don't otherwise.
To me, it shows just how weak this case is, if that's what you're hanging your hat on.
But I don't see anything else to proceed with a murder charge.

I think that is the only chance the defense attorney has now. Both sides introducing new evidence at closing.
"That's kyle pointing a gun" -Prosecutor
"That's x, y, z pointing guns at Kyle" - Defense
This is insane.
