This is just more government restricting a market. I thought we were getting rid of regulations.

And? It doesn't mean I'm right, it just means I might have a good reason for doing something that I would normally argue against.

Do you think repeatedly sticking with something that produce bad results is a good idea? Are your "political principles" worth cutting off your nose to spite your face?

This is why we have an Amendment process, and why that process is difficult.

Hell, I thought the left wanted to get big corporate money out of politics.

Its going to be fun watching libs try to argue against this.

There are issues more important than this........

But I cant think of one right now. The ad revenue is the lifeblood of the globohomo bolshevist NWO machine.

Good. They shouldn't need to advertise.

Don't tease me.

(And, obtw, hopefully that would include CONTROLLED OPPOSITION Fake Fox, the "news" network that won't even allow people to criticize George Soros).

Big Pharma spends about 18 Billion per year on advertising. Just think if all that money could go into R&D.

Bs. Companies have as much right to free speech as private citizens do.

the libs will trot out all types of nauseating comparisons and whataboutisms.

Ignore them. Having prescription drugs marketed directly to the public has zero benefit except as a mechanism for doctor shopping and media influence. Which is why almost zero countries allow this.

1. Most people are discussing whether or not this is a good idea, not whether or not it will be successful.

2. We didn't amend anything to censor other commercial interests.

Are you not going to answer my questions? Again?

how tf is this censorship? LOL

Pharma will continue to aggressively market to physicians. What will their argument be to market direct to consumers who cant buy their products otc and shouldnt be self-medicating? Trust science, trust doctors, remember?

No way this happens. Some Networks will go out of business as they exist on pharma advertising. Will be interesting to watch this play out.
