By that, I mean anyone coming in will know the bullshite that Tillerson was dealing with and will pretty much be told by Trump to cow State into submission.
This is a stubborn administration. The faces may change but the policy won’t.

The fight over money.
Tillerson cutting heads of career diplomats. It's budget time coming up and the way govt works is if you don't spend everything this year you get no raise next year.
Actually, if State remains MILLIONS under budget then that resets the entire next year to the lower amount.
No way, the Dems especially but all the UniParty, the politicians want to spend less.
I mean, mah gawd, people will die in the streets and stuff. Claire in DesMoine won't be able to feed or clothe her 28 children she adopted from the coal mines in Chicago's troubled neighborhoods from unvaccinated drug addict miners.

Can the Trump supporters on this board give me their opinion on the large amount of turnover within his cabinet and/or close advisors? Is the issue president Trump? The "best people" he selected, is it them? You have to admit that there is an issue here.

Wouldn't this be a pro swamp move, though?

A) Amateurism (can make arguments this is good or bad) - Both with Trump, his core folks, and the folks put in high tier roles.
B) Changing rules about what the WH should look like - Trump has largely destroyed considerations that a cabinet member should stay X number of months to avoid making the WH look silly, etc. He's obsessed with vanity, obviously, but he's willing to break the mold
C) Trump undoubtedly puts people in tough positions. See Sean Spicer.

The incredible stress and strain of working in this admin is very hard on people. Some of it is self-inflicted, some is a result of the establishment swamp's fight to retain power/resist reform.

Tillerson is a god damn American hero, had the balls to call Trump a moron, which is a correct assessment. Hope he runs for President.

I'm sure Tillerson has butted heads with bureaucrats, but that doesn't explain why Trump potentially approving a plan to let him go. This is Trump's call.

Nikki Haley would do really well as Sec of State.

Go ahead and appoint all the neocons to positions of power?
At least she’s harmless at the UN.

Sad. I bet Tillerson didn't even know he likes to watch his wife get fricked by other dudes.
I hope he's petty enough to spill the beans when he's gone, though.

Tillerson has been getting rid of the people that came into State during the Clinton years. That’s a good thing. He’s, hopefully, restoring it to what it was.
