Results of inquiry into the two most recent Naval collisions

Blame totally on navigational errors and mistakes on the bridge and lack of understanding of how the ship moved. Redefines snafu.

I've known a few good SWOs, but most of the good ones are too unhappy to stay in so the mediocre and bad ones just promote up to CDR. The good ones that do stay in stand a pretty good chance of making O-6 or even pinning on a star if they don't screw up.

The Navy has a culture problem. Sounds like both of those ships were filled with undisciplined and incompetent shitbags from the top down.

Navigation and Basic Seamanship were replaced in the manual with "procedures for pregnant males" section

It's the military. There are supposed to be smart people everywhere, but everyone in the officer corps who can is running to the civilian side. The ones who can't, cant because they're retarded. Of course there are exceptions.
I knew a logistics LT who even other officers called "Radio" because he was that imcompetent. I think he's still in and just made major.
I had a company commander who had no business being in the military at all. She had been given the command because at the time, there legit wasn't another eligible captain in the brigade (this was 2010). She ended up losing $5 million worth of army property because she had a supply sgt who was a crook and she never once did an inventory. When I was made XO I got to help with the FLIPL to find the company's shite. We found a containerized workshop (FRS) still on our books that was in Germany (we were stationed CONUS).
