that indicates I have to make a defense of my faith or practice.

Just tell them you'll vote democrat forever if they give you an exemption.

This is the correct answer. Is this the fricking Spanish Inquisition or what?

Aren't they violating your right to privacy by asking you that question?
Posted on 11/24/21 at 2:00 pm to Wolfhound45
You don't owe then a response
Repeat that you have a sincere religious belief.
They aren't looking for clarification. They are looking to use something against you.
Repeat your previous Title VII claim. That's it.

We are only responsible for what we know. You’ve never knowingly taken medicine that meets that criteria nor will you in the future.
That’s standard DoD bullshite but I’m not surprised. Tell them you need a beard for your religious beliefs or that you’re really a woman and they just roll over. This has become a disgusting political power play and senior leadership has shredded what little credibility they had by pretending to consider these waivers.

As Snow Patrol says,
“Just say yes”
“Just say yes”

They sent you a blog post, which contains the opinion of a Catholic priest. He is not speaking with any kind of religious authority, especially if you didn't claim your Catholic beliefs as your religious accommodation.
If you never said anything about Catholicism, turn this around on HR and ask why they are assuming the opinion of a Catholic priest means anything to you?

Do you attest that you also abstain from all of the listed medications from the above paragraph based on your religious beliefs?"
Keep it simple.
Yes.

Are you going to sue if they deny it?

Do you abstain? That’s a simple question or do you pick and choose how your religion affects your medicine
Posted on 11/24/21 at 2:04 pm to Wolfhound45
quote:oh sorry my religion says that won't happen because we're sinners

Nope, still is not. If an undue hardship is created, their recourse is to release him because reasonable accomodations cannot be made. Interrogating him is not part of that process.

The list of medicines is a lie.

a simple "mind your own fricking business, hypocrite" should suffice.

Now this is much better.
That would make HR shite their pants and move on.
