Seemingly lost on a GOP desperate to not seem heartless is that income inequality is unrelentingly beautiful, signals increased abundance to be enjoyed by all, and it tautologically signals a great leveling of the lifestyle gap. Republicans were once the Party of up-from-nothing, entrepreneurial achievement, and income inequality signals just that. It’s a sign that enterprise is being rewarded, that investment is reaching the talented over the politically connected, and it also signals that major unmet market needs are being met; hence the rising net worth of successful entrepreneurs.

I agree completely with this article. Income inequality is inherent if you know what the definition of "income" is. Wealth inequality is a different story, but income inequality shows both upward mobility AND the ability of low income people to survive on that income.

Ok. I will bite....

Democrats need to embrace the fact that we the working class can't continue to support illegals and native sons sucking the welfare tit their entire lives. It is not my fault that the poverty stricken sector does absolutely nothing to help themselves while you libetards make excuses for them every chance you can.

I agree, I just worded it differently. To make income equal would completely destroy the meaning of income. Fighting income inequality is like fighting a unicorn.

What a fail on my part. iPad typo.

But still, well played.

But the one person forefront and center peddling the idea of income inequality is none other than Bill de blasio who's basically a communist and extreme far left individual. That's a huge red flag right there.

Income inequality is a GOOD thing, yet that frick is going to go up on stage tonight and demand we do something about it. He KNOWS he is spewing irrational shite, but he spews it nonetheless because it gives people like Spidermantuba and Rex raging boners.

They only need do so when Democrats act like adults and acknowledge the true causes of unequal job opportunity.

The dems will do this like they did education.

Everybody can't be rich so to achieve this wondrous goal everybody needs to get poorer, kind of like everybody can't be smart so giving a crappy education to all levels the playing field.

Dem politicians are exempt of course, since they are our betters and know so much more than we do about virtually everything.

AS LONG AS THERE IS UPWARD MOBILITY, INCOME INEQUALITY WILL CONTINUE TO EXIST.

I'd be all for income equality if it's goal were to make the poor wealthier. However, Obmama and company just want to make everybody poor, except his buddies.

you may choose equality, or you may choose freedom

but never both

Thing is, there's no such thing as equality. Honestly traditional America is as close as you'll get to equality and freedom.

Equal treatment under the law and freedom to do with your life as you so choose.

The path to "equality" many are wanting to take in this country is the path to oppression, poverty, and tyranny.

The thought that everyone regardless of talent, work ethic, or good/bad luck should receive the same amount of income is preposterous. The idea is so ridiculous it blows my mind that any rational person would give it any credence at all. Nobody is created equal, we all have our positives and negatives.

Freedom allows each person, if he/she so chooses, to exploit their positive attributes for further financial gain. It allows those gifted to make a huge difference, and to help those less fortunate.

To pursue the fictional equality, you punish those who are gifted, and bring them down to the level of those not as gifted, to where nobody has a glimmer of hope and all are miserable.

This President's solution to solve the "problem" of income inequality is income redistribution.
