I'll take your word for it since I don't see it in the article and couldn't find a link to the actual report

2.28 was the number I was given around 2011 and I was just going by that.

I'd still bet that 1.98 is higher than it was in the 60/70s

When people no longer have jobs and the participation rate falls to the low 60's, isn't income disparity going to rise?
