Agree with all of that. After Ike… Rs have been mostly shills for the MIC. Something he warned everyone about, ironically.

Of course you do. Why don't we ever see threads about the great legacies of democrat presidents?

Why did you add S&P numbers to only the D side? Did all the R presidents crash them out or something??

Half right. Trump's deficits aren't because of tax cuts. They have been because of massive increases in spending.

A five minute search will show you that watergate was complete bullshite and a setup by the IC.

G. Gordon Liddy had a great show remembering Watergate with guests who were the federal agents investigating the break-in.
Agent: "We were led to the Democrat office rooms located in the hotel by one of their officials. We walked into one office that was a total mess with files and ash trays strewn on the floor. I said: 'well, I can see that intruders really hit this office!' The democrat official looked embarrassed and said: 'Well, no. This office stayed secure. Our workers always left it in a mess.'

I don’t believe Republicans ever had control of congress during Reagan’s terms. Spending wasn’t all his fault. If Newt Gingrich running the show could make Clinton look good, then think what Reagan could have done with a Newt.

I miss Newt.

George W. Bush sold the Yanks out to pharmaceutical companies. From a financial standpoint, that was probably the nail in the coffin in their empire.

Congress outspent every presidential budget request (back when that was a thing) Regan produced by huge margins. Reagan even vetoed a budget. Now “republicans” just CR the last clowns budget, and add to it (slightly) less than a democrat would.

Now do Democrats.

You do make a strong argument. I would argue that what Dems have done is far worse.

Stop the spending and everything will work itself out.

Looks like you boys prefer to still own slaves.

Question for you: If Reagan was so bad as you say, why did he leave office with a 65% approval rating, win re-election nearly winning every single state, and why did his VP running on his legacy win another near landslide in 1988?

The legacies of his administration aged really poorly

Hmmm. The people of Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the former East Germany, etc., etc., ect. probably would have a different take.

Carter, the Iran hostage crisis that lasted over a year, the failed rescue attempt that killed eight soldiers, and terrible stagflation with sky-high inflation and interest rates. He got crushed on the economy.

Clinton, the Monica Lewinsky affair led to his impeachment, plus Whitewater investigations and other scandals like Travelgate. Administration policies attributed to Housing Crisis 2008.

Obama, IRS targeting conservative groups, Operation Fast and Furious the Benghazi attack, and massive NSA surveillance revealed by Snowden, not to mentuon spying on a US politucal party

If I have to rehash Bidens 4 years I'll probably throw up
