This might be as simple as wanting DJT Jr to clarify a misunderstanding in order to blunt the inevitable Dem attempt to make more of something than it actually is. Let's not do a Dem move here and rush to judgment....that never seems to work out well...

Nope. A subpoena generally means they want to talk about someone else. A summons means they want to talk about you.

I just read on CNN that there have been discussions for weeks. The committee is re-interviewing many of the people. Jared Kushner has already testified again.
