Well I am rather sad tonight myself. I worked in One Federal Place in Birmingham from when it opened for 11 years. Now I get to look at all the damage it took on TV tonight as well as the whole vicinity...just sad and angering! No excuse for any of this! Shameful!

They truly believe if they preach white guilt and show up at the party they will be accepted and better yet - welcomed. I grew up in a poor community with poor whites and poor blacks. You never walked thru the "black" areas alone or without a getaway plan. The amount of times I dealt with attempted jumpings just being near the wrong area or the wrong street at the wrong time because my house was in between a black area and my school was ridiculous. I either walked 3 blocks around said area or tried to walk thru it and be ready to throw hands or in my case - run because I was always outnumbered. The didnonuffings hated my guts because I was white. That's all there is to it.
