We've had "equality" for decades now. The left has decided that equality is not enough. The new buzzword is "equity." The goal is equal results. Period.

Studies show that to get admitted to the same flagship schools, for SAT scores, Asian must be 100 over White, 300 over Hispanic, and 450 over Africa American.

Well that's one biased and incorrect way to describe it.
Asians are probably hurt the most.

In college, I worked for the student government at UGA. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was the affirmative action candidate.
You don't know white privilege until you have two black girls having a heated argument in the student union courtyard about some white boy.
I learned a lot those years, and yes, they are all pink on the inside. You're welcome.

The Academic Magnet for 6th, 7th and 8th grade in Shreveport is Caddo Middle Magnet. They've had a 40% protected quota for blacks since their creation. Whites who score much higher than the average accepted black are rejected to meet the quota.
So, they got sued by white parents for racial discrimination. No problem. They changed the rule. Now they have a 40% quota for kids whose parents are on welfare.

I don't know why the Trump admin thinks they need to sue (maybe that's just the fall back position because of his litigious history).
Obama started a seismic shift at the graduate level when the DOE/DOJ sent out their Dear Colleague letter on Title IX. Pretty much every university in the country bent over and dropped their drawers at the prospect of losing federal funding if they didn't follow the admin's interpretation of that law, which was quite suspect and vastly overreaching.
If I'm Trump, I have Sessions send out a nice Dear Colleague letter in conjunction with DeVos that says the administration has determined that any practice that limits the ability of any person or favors any individual over another for reasons of race, class, or ethnic background from obtaining admission to a university - regardless of institutional desires or quotas - violates Title VI. As such, the administration will withhold any federal funding from universities that engage in practices that the administration has determined violate federal law.
Watch the shite storm and melt down start tomorrow.

Maybe we'll start getting the best-qualified and most intelligent people rising to their highest potential, instead of a horde of barely literate, entitled Marxists walking around with "qualifications" that they do not deserve.
Under the doctrine of "disparate impact" (which is absurd and ridiculous and founded on a huge lie) Asians need to be held back. Obviously their success is a by-product of a "System" which structurally creates "better outcomes" for them than for others.
I swear, I believe we'd have colonies on Mars had the 1960s never happened. This country has wasted so many resources and so much time pandering to myths.

I, personally, disagree with that.
Why do you disagree with it, when it is demonstrably true. By EVERY metric.
Now, of course, this doesn't mean EVERY black person, so the charge or racism can't be applied here, but even those blacks who do fit will tell anyone who will listen that those who don't aren't "really black"

The race does correlate but not nearly as strongly as 2 parent households. The problem isn't being black. The problem is a culture that has abandoned the 2 parent household mentality and children being raised w/out 2 parents.
Having 2 parents also leads to another VERY strong correlation to learning and that is having parents that read to young children. A single parent just doesn't have the time or energy in the day to read to their kids as much as a 2 parent household would. I'm sure there are some exceptions but as a parent of 3, I can honestly say there is no way I would be able to read to my kids as much at the end of the day if it was all me.
