Report: ‘Huge’ Group of Anti-Trump Protestors Wait for Him in New Orleans

CBS New Orleans is reporting that a “huge” group of anti-Trump protestors have gathered outside the American Farm Bureau Federation Convention in New Orleans to protest President Trump’s speech on Monday.

“Eric, as you mentioned this is the longest government shutdown in American history and protestors here, are very upset about it,” CBS New Orleans’ Meghan Kee reported. “They came equipped with their signs, as you can see, even calling for Trump’s impeachment.”

CBS New Orleans then showed the crowd of protectors waiting for Trump, some of whom had ‘baby Trump’ balloons.

“Don’t underestimate us, we are angry,” one protestor told CBS New Orleans. “It’s easy to get people to come out and talk about the problems with Donald Trump. It didn’t take any effort at all for us to understand we needed to be here.”

The protestor added that she thought more people would have attended the protest if people didn’t have to work.

“As you can see, there is a very huge crowd here gathered outside the convention center, and they are very upset,” the CBS New Orleans reporter said.
