Report — CNN’s Cooper, Wallace, Tapper on ‘Chopping Block’

CNN’s new CEO is looking at the ratings (he must have an electron microscope), looking at the salaries of his overpaid anchors, and thinking it’s time to make some changes.
InTouch reports, “New CEO Mark Thompson is preparing ruthless cuts to remake the network as ratings plunge — leaving Anderson Cooper, Chris Wallace, Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper facing dates with the axman, a source says.”
This is what I found fascinating — replacing these liars and basement-rated losers with Megyn Kelly — someone who actually attracts a sizable audience:
Sources say [Thompson] has no use for the star system and the hefty salaries that come with it. He’s reportedly seeking to replace marquee names with talent who built their audiences on social media — including former FOX and NBC anchor Megyn Kelly, who has 1.72 million subscribers on YouTube.

If Megyn toes the company line they won’t watch her either.

Jake Tapper is not that bad.

CNN would do themselves a favor by hiring someone on the right. Would get eyeballs on their crap network and they could reshape their cuckery narrative.
Still won’t watch but it would benefit them

Where does the time go? It’s almost as if I never even saw their shows.

Please tell me there's a highlight reel on YouTube of you having your window smashed and drug out of car forcibly. . .

Correct. I think what would need to happen is for the talent to be able to keep doing their social media and have it independent from the network, so the reporter can help assure viewers/fans that they aren't being influenced behind the scenes at the network. The talent would need complete autonomy written into their contract.
I don't think networks work that way these days though, like there may be some sort of NDA about discussing editorial overrides of the talent's network content or something.
The talent should also not go unless they can bring their own team (producers and such) who are also covered by the talent's autonomy clause.
After that, the network will need more than one. Megyn Kelly chairing a show or the evening news might help, but the vast amount of the rest of the programming is still vulnerable to the leftist messaging which has caused viewers to abandon CNN so they would need an entire lineup just to start digging themselves out of the hole. One shovel ain't doin' it.
Throw out similar offers to Attkisson, Carson, Ngo and Greenwald. If the latter two can't do a whole show, give them big spots on the big shows.
Each of these have well over a million followers on Twitter alone, that's roughly 2x what CNN averages in their primetime. CNN needs to realize they need this talent far more than the reverse, and the talent needs to realize that as well when they go into negotiations with CNN (and not be afraid to let the deal fall though).

All CNN has to do is report accurate, unbiased, and unembellished national and global news. There are loads of unreported news that isn't being reported because CNN is too focused on biased commentary .

If CNN returned to its philosophy of early days, I’d probably watch often.
Noone ever confused Ted Turner with being conservative but at least back in those days, it seemed CNN strived for balanced coverage, presenting both sides, and assuming the viewer was capable of drawing his/her own conclusions.
Even their old 10pm Sports show that competed against ESPN SportsCenter was well done.

Would be great but cnn ain’t about that life.

CNN should try doing real journalism and real reporting instead of leftist propaganda.

As with Bud Light...I will never watch cnn for any reason .....forever.....I have friends who have had interviews on the trash msm..nope don't watch...never ever. Cuomo can change networks and act like normal rational person...but he is never ever also. POS.

I watch Megyn Kelly on YouTube a lot. She is a pro. I don't agree with her all the time but she is very good at what she does.

I had no idea that she does well, until somebody like Greenwald pointed it out. If you can do your thing on Youtube, Rumble, or Twitter and make a few million, why go back to MSM? Who pays her, though? Similarly, how does a crazy guy like Beck make good money?
