Why don't people like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Warren Buffett offer to make payments since they have benefited the most from the systemic racist system.

This is one of the reason for the troops and the fence in DC but sadly not the only reason. They’re fixing to cram stuff down our throats that they know will have the citizenry fightin’ mad.

My family (and the families of most white Americans) came to the US from Europe decades after slavery was abolished. Do I have to pay?

The United States was not involved in the slave trade, generally speaking.
So, the amount of damages is either $0 or near $0.
There simply is no path for reparation as the things exist today, redraft the Constitution than it might be possible... heck, at that point they can just take it.

LBJ's "Great Society" was largely reparations and dem vote buying. It fostered government dependency and destroyed a great many two parent homes with all of the consequences that entails.

The Irish did hazardous jobs in NOLA because slaves were too valuable to perform them. Irishmen had no value, but black slaves did.

Ok, let’s deduct every penny spent in the welfare system, black only loans and government programs, DBE projects, etc.
Then single time payment for anyone who can prove their ancestors were slaves under an American government. But how will we determine this? 100% genetic lineage? One drop rule?
Then no more welfare or any black only programs.
Deal?
Are we also going to do Asians? Or no?
