No prob.

So in essence you used a typical leftist strategy in this thread throw something out there insinuating Trump as part of some awful thing without any context.

He cited the need for "fiscal sanity" and to prevent federal funding for what he deemed a "taxpayer handout" for a Colorado water project

You arguing that Trump vetoed this to be thrifty is laughable.
The dude passes Biden budgets for God's sake.

The Epstein-Massie bros never let facts get in their way.

Nice reactionary response to a simple question asking if true.
“Massie brigade”.
My post history is out there. I’ve been a pretty consistent supporter of DJT.
How dare someone even ask if that item were true.
Dipshite.

No, that would be Massie’s branch, Congress. The President’s options are to sign laws or veto them.
Perhaps you should re-watch School House Rock.

Interesting that you discount Trumps own quote on why he vetoed and just quickly jump on the leftist conspiracy angle

Thank god President Trump vetoed the bill and exercised fiscal restraint. It was clearly a local project with no compelling federal interest. I thought Massie bros were all over fiscal restraint but I guess that yields when Epstein is concerned.
Fricking boom!

In Trump’s second term he has signed two CRs. That would be Biden budgets with additional COLA, that are now Trump budgets.. That water pipeline project was a piss ant spending measure. But let’s make sure our foreign friends get infrastructure first.

Budgets that were actually reductions in spending. And the dems shut the government down for over a month because of it.

Why should federal taxpayers guarantee and subsidize loans for a boondoggle water project in Colorado? Isn’t your “it’s just pocket change” argument antithetical to Massieism?

The bill had passed unanimously in both the House and Senate, but Trump vetoed it.
So then they easily met the veto override requirement?

If you're going to spend my tax money, then domestic funding for fresh water to rural communities seems to be the least of my worries.

No, it isn’t. It was a local project and not deserving of federal funding. I thought the Massie brigade like fiscal responsibility?
It was his first veto. It had unanimous, bipartisan support. Maybe it was wasteful, but the optics definitely are not good.

You say this while completely ignoring the boondoggle project he literally vetoed. Your TDS is clinical.

I dont give a shat if it cost tree fiddy. Locals should pay half if they think it is worth it, not 35% paid off over 75 years.....which we know will never be paid.
Without cost overruns, which we know will happen this is 30K per person, fk that, for that money we can move them all to california and still save money.
