Oh wow...I just looked him up and read. He is total trash. I would say his 2006 run might have been something to look at since he had so many in his district aligned against him. It does look like the Ford family in-fighting helped him after that.

Or ask why the paucity of non whites in the actual combat arms sections... infantry, airborne, rangers, SEALS, etc. if you pull a trigger for a living, your squad tends to be overwhelmingly pale, especially the more elite the unit is.
