Giving massive tax breaks for little in return has been a staple of the Republican play book for forever now. Why are you shocked?

They just film there. Not many of them actually moved there.

there's not much going on with Hollywood and movies here now - at least not there was like a few years ago. I have a brother in law who is in the industry.

GOP governor in Texas did the same thing. Actively recruited CA companies who relocated and brought their liberal employees. Those transplants and Paxton will hand the Senate seat to the Democrats. Cornyn might have had a tough time winning, but Paxton was a loser from the start.

I know nearly a dozen families that have ‘fled’ CA and moved to the south or mountain west. Every single family but one are all conservative Trump voters and took their politics with them. The exact opposite of the CA boogeyman the PoliBoard likes to portray.

Hard to swallow maybe but guess what, Texas and GA are growing Libs by the tons. Homegrown
