we met at a regular bar and bullshitted for a while. there was some bums acting up and shite on the street so he said he knew a different spot down the road, so we went there. it was an outside patio type thing with a mix of regular looking dudes and some weirdos, but way less women haha. This was like 6 years ago during covid but I remember a dude wearing a wedding dress handing out some flyers talking about the business next to the bar not being gay inclusive. when I went inside to get a drink or use the bathroom it was clear it was a gay bar at that point. like I said, not a big deal because I am married anyway so I was just looking to get a couple of drinks and pass some time. we bullshitted for a while then we both headed out. I think at some point he said something like this place must have changed to a gay bar but I don't quite remember. He talked about having a fiance and stuff. he was a little quirky but about what you would expect for a dude in portland. also probably the least crazy thing to happen on that trip to be honest. That city was fricking crazy.

we had some duels back when we both posted at saintsreport and they carried over to here. he was pretty prolific poster here back then but I dont think he had posted that doll or anything about that girl back then. I dont exactly remember how we decided to meet up but I am sure I either asked him some shite about portland or something. back then he was a big time trump supporter.
