OK, let's go with that, I'll throw in with you on this point and agree.
My question, if the victim was a black BLM supporter, would the charges have been dropped?
ETA: That was the killing of McGlockton. Eventually the killer was charged and found guilty, but it is of note that they didn't even initially charge the guy in that case and the local police chief tried to sweep it under the rug.
Could you imagine if this security guard was never charged or investigated? If the cops never put him in cuffs and released him the same day?

I must say I have to side with the shooter if I am being consistent. I am 100% ok with cops shooting people that attack them. The mace isn't lethal but once incapacitated, the gun could be taken and used against the gun toter.
Guns complicate things. I believe we should have the right to carry but once a gun is produced, the rules of engagement change. It is now life or death by virtue of the gun being provided as a deterrent.
To rephrase Sean Connery, don't bring mace to a gun fight. Don't engage someone with a gun unless you are prepared to be shot.

I regularly call out police for bad shoots here. You see it. You’re a completely politically driven person.
